Property chain management; how to add the details of properties above & below your property to see a complete property chain

VIA allows you to add the details of properties above and below the property you're selling so you can see the complete chain at a glance though VIA's Chain Management system.

To Add a Property Chain

• Login to VIA

• In the left hand menu, go to the top tab called CRM (it may also be called Property Management or Property Editor)

• Click the Property tab

• Search for the property you want to edit using the search bar

• Right click the relevant property from the list and select View Chain. This will trigger a slide out panel from the right hand side

• Your property will be marked in a dark grey box. There will be an + symbol above and below the property. Click the relevant + symbol to add a property below or above your property in the chain

• Enter the relevant details of the property such as the address, solicitor, vendor, and occupier contact details, plus a notes section to add any information you wish

• Click Save once you've entered all the relevant information you need

To Edit a Property in the Chain

• Login to VIA

• In the left hand menu, go to the top tab called CRM (it may also be called Property Management)

• Click the Property tab

• Search for the property you want to edit using the search bar

• Right click the relevant property from the list and select View Chain. This will trigger a slide out panel from the right hand side

• Click the edit logo (the square icon with a pencil inside). This will reveal the various sections you can edit. Simply make the changes you need and click Save

• Please note, you don't need to edit your property in the chain management slide out. The details of that property are simply pulled in from the property record within VIA itself and will automatically update as you make edits to the property record.

To Delete a Property in the Chain

• Login to VIA

• In the left hand menu, go to the top tab called CRM (it may also be called Property Management)

• Click the Property tab

• Search for the property you want to edit using the search bar

• Right click the relevant property from the list and select View Chain. This will trigger a slide out panel from the right hand side

• Click the edit logo (the square icon with a pencil inside). This will reveal the various sections you can edit. Click the Delete button to delete the property entirely
